Lian Choon Huat Group operates within four principal business segments - Trading, Manufacturing, Logistics and Investments across Malaysia. Our Group specializes in manufacturing of mild steel tubes and pipes and trading of construction grade steel materials. We also provide integrated sourcing, processing, fabrication and logistic services for various engineering and construction projects. On the other hand, our investment arm actively deploys excess reserves into quality assets within real estate, credit and public equities to enhance the Group's performance.

1987 - Incorporation of Lian Choon Huat Hardware Sdn Bhd and commenced trading and distribution of hardware and construction materials from a rented premise at Jalan Bendahara, Ipoh
1996 - Expanded trading operations beyond the state of Perak and into Northern Malaysia and Klang Valley
2001 - Acquisition of Warehouse 1 and Warehouse 2 at Silibin Industrial Park, Ipoh and moved office and trading operations to Silibin, Ipoh. Exited premise at Jalan Bendahara Ipoh
2006 - Incorporation of Lian Choon Huat Metal Industries Sdn Bhd and began construction of Factory 1 at Menglembu Industrial Park, Ipoh.
2010 - CCC obtained for Factory 1 and commissioning of ERW Line 1 and 2 with 10,000 MT/pa production capacity of mild steel hollow sections.
2015 - Commission of ERW Line 3 at Factory 1 with increased capacity to 20,000 MT/pa production capacity of mild steel hollow sections. Trading operations expanded into Southern Malaysia and now encompasses the entire Peninsular Malaysia.
2021 - Expansion of Factory 1 with hangar-style extended storage area. Obtained JTK COA accredition for all hostel facilities owned by the Group.
2022 - Incorporation of Lian Choon Huat Capital Sdn Bhd and commenced investment activities across public equities in Malaysia. Joined MSMDA as an affiliate member to expand networking and partnership opportunities.
2023 - Commissioning of 272.8 kWp photovoltaic / solar EPCC project at Factory 1 to increase renewable energy load to approximately 40% of total factory energy consumption. Initiated a change management project to transform the Group's operations to adhere to ISO 9001 QMS and 14001 EMS requirements.
2024 - Incorporation of Lian Choon Huat Distributors Sdn Bhd and commenced consumer goods distribution activities in Ipoh, Perak and Klang Valley. Lian Choon Huat Metal Industries Sdn Bhd obtained ISO 9001:2015 UKAS certification on its quality management system.
